Horizons: Earthville Initiatives in Development

There’s always something cooking in Earthville. Here is a peek at a few of the projects we’re working on quietly behind the scenes:

  • Acupressure Bead Research Project: The Acupressure Bead Research Project was conceived by Dr. Ruth Ackerman to explore the effect of the effectiveness of polarized acupressure beads to treat children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). A small-scale initial study has been conducted with encouraging results, and now the project seeks support for further testing.  › read more
  • Earthville Education: The Earthville Education project has been in development since the 1990s, launching various components one-by-one on a modest scale. The long-term vision includes three interrelated components: curricula for responsible global citizenship and holistic personal development; a model for holistic and sustainable campuses; and an international network connecting such campuses across the globe, facilitating interaction and collaboration between participants at each location. These components will require considerable funding and logistical support.  › read more
  • Earthville Institute, USA: Earthville is in the preliminary stages of establishing a new eco-campus for the Earthville Institute in Colorado. The focus of the Institute’s activities will be education and empowerment for sustainable living and compassionate global society.  › read more
