We’re Back: Earthville Resumes In-person Programs in the Himalayas and the US

Earthville Education

Hello, friends!

After two unprecedented years, we are delighted to announce that Earthville will be resuming in-person educational programs in 2022, and we have some exciting news to share.

First, at our Himalayan campus, we will be offering our first one-year residential course in Natural Design and Contemplative Architecture. This course is a rare opportunity to conduct a deep and transformative exploration of natural design, the power of space and form, the creative process, and our relationship with these.

The full one-year course will lead us through the birth of a life-affirming space — from the initial site studies to design to construction, with meaningful participation in each stage of the process. The course will integrate theory and practice: a spacious and in-depth design studio process and hands-on building work, supported by a rich syllabus structured to support the interdisciplinary breadth of the course, exploring nature’s geometry, design principles, a contemplative approach to the creative process, and one’s growth as a designer, as a builder, and as a caring and empowered human.

And on the other side of the globe, to give you a sneak peak at the future, we will begin work on a new eco-campus in the US. The creation of this campus will provide rich opportunities for learning the arts of natural building, permaculture landscaping, and much more. Stay tuned for details. We look forward to sharing more with you later this year.

Meanwhile, we wish everyone joy, good health, and connection in the new year.
